Winning the «Orteke» Festival.
From 21 to 25 May in Almaty was held VII International Festival of Puppet Theaters «Orteke». The festival was established in 2007 by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. «Orteke» festival traditionally gathers the best puppeteers from Kazakhstan and foreign countries, presenting the audience bright performances and innovative theatrical forms, serving as a platform for the exchange of experience, creative ideas and preservation of traditions of stage puppetry.
Kostanay regional puppet theater, with a triumphant performance at the international festival, won a bright victory and was awarded the prestigious award in the nomination «The best acting ensemble» and a cash certificate for 1 000 000 tenge. High appreciation of the jury and the audience became a recognition of talent, high level of collective play, coherence and professionalism of the entire cast. The theater team presented the play «MEN...» directed by N. Sabashvili to the jury. The production caused a lively response from the audience and became a bright event of the festival program. The jury noted expressiveness, accuracy of performance and emotional depth, with which the artists realized the idea of the production, demonstrating the true power of acting ensemble play.
